Mission Pleasantly Surprised by Local Agency’s International Expertise

Mission Health Selects Integritive2 as New Agency of Record

ASHEVILLE, NC (Jan. 26, 2012) – Asheville-based Integritive2, a new breed of branding and advertising communications agency, today announced that it has been awarded the Mission Health account after a competitive bid process against two out-of-town agencies. Integritive2 was the only local agency invited to pitch the business. The award is also indicative of Mission Health’s dedication to small business and Asheville’s economic development stability by keeping the advertising, branding, internet and public relations business local.

“We selected Integritive2 because of their ability to deliver advertising and brand communications better than any of the agencies that participated in the pitch process. The agency selection committee’s decision to work with Integritive2was unanimous,” said Rowena Buffett Timms, Senior Vice President for Government and Community Relations at Mission Health, which was recently named one of the top 15 health systems in the U.S. “We seek out world-class suppliers for patient care and everything else we do, and we want to use local suppliers whenever possible. Integritive2brings the national and international experience needed to execute the work.”

The win highlights the power of the strategic partnership between Integritive2 and its sister company, Integritive. Integritive2 will be responsible for planning and implementing Mission Health’s marketing communications strategy, aligning branding, advertising, research-based media planning and buying and public relations initiatives across the health system’s nine divisions. Integritive will handle Mission Health’s web strategies.

“Mission Health pursues the highest standards of excellence in all they do, and we met that mark,” said Neil Gurney, partner at Integritive2. “The added bonus is that Mission has brought the business back to Asheville, and that will have a huge economic impact.”

Small businesses like Integritive2 are the backbone of the Asheville economy. With Mission Hospital keeping its advertising business locally, the agency will employ additional staff, which is good news for the local workforce. Additionally, Integritive2’s sustainability-based business model is built upon using local vendors and suppliers whenever possible. According to Gurney, a large number of world-class suppliers already exist in Asheville.
